* One is for each family member to receive 3 gifts: one for their heart/their passions, one for their soul/their connection to God, and one for their mind.
* Another tradition is that just before or after we open gifts we eat chocolate pancakes and open English-style Christmas Poppers. Each popper contains a hat and a small gift. Everyone is required to wear their hat during the meal.
